Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your Bishop Auckland Life account at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account.

In-app deletion

The quickest way to delete your account is through the app: go to Account → Delete account and confirm. This permanently removes your personal data and signs you out.

What gets deleted

• • Saved businesses, events and offers
• • Enquiries and enquiry messages
• • Jobs and quotes
• • Ask Bishop conversations
• • Notifications
• • Reports you've submitted
• • Offers and advertisements you've created

What may be retained

Certain information may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, payment records, dispute resolution, or other lawful purposes. Business listings you've created may be retained as part of the public directory.

Timing

Deletion is processed immediately for in-app deletion. Some data may take longer to fully remove from backups and logs.
